In accord with the USA Patriot Act, and the final regulations issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, a U.S. bank or a U.S. broker-dealer in securities (a "Covered Financial Institution") is required to obtain certain information from any "Foreign Bank" to which the Covered Financial Institution provides a correspondent account.

As permitted by the final rules, BBVA has prepared a Global USA Patriot Act Certification for use by any financial institution that believes it requires a Patriot Act Certification from one or more of the business units of the BBVA Group ("BBVA Group Entities").

Please use this certification rather than requesting an individual BBVA Group Entity to complete a separate Certification form.
