Forfaiting This service lets us discount wiring document deriving form long and short term export transactions, specially, the ones made with Latin American, Spanish and Portuguese importers. This makes it easy for exporters to sell their products and offer finance to their clients being able to discount these type of document right after unloading the merchandise.
Bid & performance bonds At request of our costumer in BBVA we issue this type of guarantees. These are set as support of the offers made for goods and services provision, both in sole transactions and when they are part of a project.
Export pre and post finance. We offer exporters the possibility of financing their sells both before merchandise shipping (which lets them cover the goods productions costs) and afterwards. The re-payment of the finance is made through the collections of exports. This facility is available both in the international network and the specialized departments in those countries, mainly Latin America, where BBVA has major presence. Export Credit Agencies Through our contacts with the most important ECAS, BBVA offers mid-term finance in goods supply transactions. We have great expertise since we have made huge transactions not only in Latin America but several other countries worldwide. Likewise, we operate with private underwriters to get the best political and commercial coverage and the highest credit facilities.
Structured Finance By means of structured finance we manage to relieve the implicit risk in any commercial transaction. In Grupo BBVA we offer the possibility of designing “customized” finance models based on pre-finance to exporters from emerging countries linked to purchasing commitments by importers established in the OCDE countries. Therefore, we get more favourable financing terms and conditions.
