From 15 February through 16 May 2010

This exhibition, made up of 41 works by artists from ten Latin American countries, using varying techniques, proposes a tour of different aesthetic expressions that have developed not only as a result of the different European influences but also through the individual contribution and cultural background of each artist.

Artists represented include, among others, Joaquín Torres García, Leonora Carrington, Roberto Montenegro, Carlos Orozco Romero, Rufino Tamayo, Angel Zárraga, Alfaro Siqueiros, José Clemente Orozco, Diego Rivera,  Wifredo Lam, Roberto Matta, Fernando Botero, Oswaldo Guayasamin, Frida Kahlo, Cesar Paternosto and Remedios Varo.

The compilation has been shown with huge success in several museums across South America, such as the Museo Nacional de Bellas Ates in Buenos Aires, the Museo Tommié Ohtake in Sao Paulo, the Museo Nacional de la República de Brasilia, the Museo Oscar Niemeyer in Curitiba Paraná (Brazil), and the Bowers Museum in Orange County, California.
