The purpose of the device, “Token Plus”, is to prevent fraud resulting from password seizure online. This new device consists of a larger screen and headphones that will allow the user to more securely hear the security code that appears. The password will then have to be entered into the system to sign for any type of transaction. The generation of the password is validated by BBVA's Department for Computer and Network Security, and is different for each transaction and has a set period of validity. Thus, BBVA net cash provides a high level of security to companies using our online banking system to carry out their transactions (paychecks, remittances, transfers, etc.). This project, driven by Servicios Transaccionales España y Portugal has been made possible thanks to the work carried out by the different Technology and Operations teams who have participated in its development. The adaptation of this device for people with visual impairments falls under BBVA´s Plan Integra, which promotes the social and labor integration of people with disabilities through the implementation and development of innovative policies. Basic concepts of this action plan include equal opportunities, non-discrimination and universal access, starting with a first-stage implementation in Spain. In addition, we hope to build awareness of the needs and potential of this group of people. The Plan is managed transversally by the Human Resources, Procurements, Premises & Services, Business, and Communication & Brand areas. |
