BBVA Bancomer currently has a 2008-2012 Global Eco-efficiency Plan that includes ambitious objectives. These include cost saving and the commitment to reducing CO2 emissions by 20% on a global level by 2012. The Plan puts BBVA among the top financial institutions in the world in the field of eco-efficiency.
