The BBVA Group's foundations
The Group’s foundations are non-profit organisations, created with the specific goal of contributing to the comprehensive development of society. BBVA has six foundations:
BBVA Foundation (Spain), focusing on research and the promotion of scientific knowledge in the fields of Social Sciences, Health Sciences and Environmental Sciences.
BBVA Bancomer Foundation (Mexico), centring its activity on the development of Mexican society within the social, educational, artistic and cultural spheres.
BBVA Provincial Foundation (Venezuela), its aim being the pursuit of social progress in Venezuela, particularly in the fields of education and culture.
BBVA Banco Francés Foundation (Argentina), geared towards improving the quality of life in Argentina by encouraging business activity, reinforcing the service sector and promoting art and culture.
BBVA Microfinance Foundation is a non profit organization. It started with the aim to provide the access to credit and financial activity of the most disadvantaged in society, across the creation of a Network of specialized microfinance entities, mainly in Latin America.
