This Community Investment Plan for Latin America is a symbol of the Group´s increased commitment to Latin America. The basic lines of the plan are as follows:

• A general framework for all Group banks and foundations in the area.

• A common focus: infant, primary or secondary schooling for disadvantaged sectors

• A criterion for the allocation of resources: at least 0.7% of the BBVA Group´s local profit in Latin America

• A greater focus on activities: Education, 63% and Culture and Social Services, 37%.

• A stellar programme in all countries: the BBVA Integración Grants Programme

• A significant increase in resources
