Large corporations should commit to overcoming the major challenges facing societies in the 21st century. In 2008 BBVA has consolidates its Niños adelante scholarship programme, thereby reinforcing its differential pledge to education.

BBVA forms part of the London benchmarking Group working group in Spain (www.lbg.es) which uses a shared model to evaluate activities in the area of corporate community investment, both in economic terms and in terms of the social impact of the actions.
