BBVA USA’s Global Wealth team earns a best-in-class score from Greenwich Associates’ study
In 2020, BBVA USA’s Global Wealth team exceeded client expectations with its flexible approach to its wealth management services at the onset of the pandemic. This year, that customer satisfaction yielded a 2021 best-in-class firm score from a Greenwich Associates study, as announced by the research firm last week.

Nearly 2.5 million people chose digital channels to become BBVA customers in 2020. The figure represents 33.3 percent of total new customers achieved throughout the Group via individual channels (offices, app, web, ATMs …) and represents a 56 percent jump with respect to new users gained digitally in 2019.

Customer satisfaction grows for eighth year in a row for BBVA USA’s Global Wealth team
In 2020, the world saw the beginning of a global pandemic that created major ripple effects across the board, including the banking industry. As BBVA USA began to adapt, so did its Global Wealth team – an effort that saw a continued increase in Customer Net Promoter Scores via the bank’s Voice of the Client (VoC) Experience Program for the eighth year in a row.

Alicia Pertusa, head of Client Solutions Strategy at BBVA, has been involved in the different ‘blockchain’ research projects and pilots that BBVA has carried out over the past five years. The launch of its first bitcoin transaction and custody service in Switzerland was a landmark achievement for BBVA.
