BBVA Shareholder and Investor Relations Team Wins Two of the Industry’s Top Distinctions at the IR Awards

BBVA’s Investor Relations team has been recognized at the prestigious IR Impact Awards, held last week in London, winning in the categories of Best Retail IR Strategy and Best Sell-Side Management.

The IR Impact Awards annually recognize best practices in shareholder and investor relations and honor companies and professionals that stand out for the quality of their communication with markets and investors, as well as for their transparency, senior management accessibility, and ability to build trust among investors and analysts.

These awards are considered one of the leading international benchmarks for assessing excellence in the investor relations function. In this year’s edition, BBVA was recognized for its Care your share program, launched jointly by the Shareholder Relations team and BBVA’s commercial network, and for excellence in managing relationships with analysts. Patricia Bueno, BBVA’s Head of Shareholder and Investor Relations, and Aitor Echevarría, Head of Sell-Side Analyst Relations and Credit Rating Agencies, accepted the awards.

These recognitions reflect the trust and appreciation that investors and analysts place in BBVA and highlight the quality of the dialogue the bank maintains with the financial community.
