BBVA Broker has been recognised for its security and the quality of its customer service in Spain in the first edition of the ‘Estrategias de Inversión’ Awards for the best brokers. In addition, the bank was ranked among the country’s top three brokers in two further categories, best overall broker and best broker for investing in investment funds, following an independent analysis that assessed nearly thirty platforms.

For the fourth year in a row, BBVA has been ranked as the leading bank to work for in Spain in the Merco Talento report, which assesses companies’ appeal as employers. The Bank has also once again been recognized among the country’s top human resources teams.

The Banker, a magazine of the Financial Times Group, has once again recognized the BBVA Group as ‘The Best Bank in Latin America.’ On this occasion, the British publication, which presented the bank with the same award in 2023, emphasized its leadership in innovation and pioneering approach to sustainability. BBVA also received the award for the Best Bank in Argentina and Peru.

For the third year running, Time has published its World’s Best Companies 2025 ranking, with BBVA having climbed 37 positions compared with 2024, claiming eighth spot globally (45th in 2024). In Spain, it was ranked as the top performer in the banking sector. The ranking, which evaluates 1,000 multinational companies, assesses employee satisfaction, financial performance, and progress toward sustainability.

Garanti BBVA was once again selected for the world’s most prestigious occupational healthand safety award at the 2025 International Safety Awards, organized by the U.K.-based non-profit organization, the British Safety Council. Of the 350 Turkish organizations that applied for the award, Garanti BBVA was the only financial institution to receive the award for the sixth year in a row.

The BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Social Sciences has gone in this seventeenth edition to social psychologists Icek Ajzen (University of Massachusetts Amherst), Dolores Albarracín (University of Pennsylvania), Mahzarin Banaji (Harvard University), Anthony Greenwald (University of Washington) and Richard Petty (Ohio State University) for their innovative contributions that have revolutionized the attitude theory and its practical applications.
