BBVA Bancomer has been crowned as the most innovative bank in Latin America in this year’s edition of British publication Global Finance’s The Innovators 2018 awards, which recognize the institutions that systematically identify new businesses and design new financial tools. With this award, the magazine acknowledges the institution’s value proposal, which includes a customer-centric data-based user-friendly design, developed in collaboration with the fintech ecosystem.

The winners have been announced of the eleventh annual Turkey’s Women Entrepreneurs Competition, organized by the Women Entrepreneurs’ Association of Turkey (KAGIDER), Garanti Bank and Ekonomist Magazine. GarantiBank International NV (GBI), a member of the BBVA Group, received an innovation award at the Outsystems Annual “NextStep” Event in Utrecht, the Netherlands. ‘The Banker’ magazine, of the Financial Times group, has named BBVA Spain as the best private bank in the world for digital communication and BBVA Bancomer as the best private bank in Mexico. Meanwhile, ‘World Finance’ magazine has selected BBVA Continental as the best private bank in Peru.
