Garanti BBVA Launches Advantageous Packages for Foreign Trade Transactions
Garanti BBVA has launched Foreign Trade Packages that allow businesses engaged in international trade to carry out import, export and related banking transactions on more advantageous terms than when paying fees for each individual transaction. With options tailored to different transaction needs and volumes, the packages can be purchased at Garanti BBVA branches or through Mobile and Online Banking, while remaining allowances can be tracked in real time through digital channels.
Garanti BBVA has developed new Foreign Trade Packages to meet the varying needs of individual and corporate clients engaged in international trade. The packages feature commonly used foreign trade and banking transactions, helping clients manage transaction costs more predictably.
Import, Export and Combined packages are available in Starter, Advantage and Prestige options, designed for different transaction volumes. Aside from import and export transactions, the packages cover outgoing and incoming SWIFT transactions, as well as collection of Garanti BBVA checks and checks drawn on other banks. Clients can therefore select the package that best matches their annual transaction volumes and benefit from lower costs than if they paid for each transaction separately. Prestige packages also include fee-free EFT and money transfer transactions.
Commenting on the new solution, Garanti BBVA Executive Vice President Cemal Onaran said: “For businesses engaged in international trade, access to financing is important, but so is the ability to manage operational processes quickly, simply, and predictably. That’s why we’re taking two complementary steps: developing packages that address different transaction needs and making them directly available to clients through digital channels.”
Onaran added that the aim was not simply to provide cost savings, but also give businesses more control over their operations while reducing their workload. He noted that Garanti BBVA would continue listening closely to its clients, monitoring their evolving foreign trade needs, and developing solutions to make them more efficient and internationally competitive.
Easy digital purchase and real-time usage tracking
Garanti BBVA Foreign Trade Packages can be purchased on a self-service basis through Mobile and Online Banking, as well as at branches. The allowances included in the packages are valid for 12 months, and clients can view their remaining allowances in real time through digital channels.
