The French, British, Germans, Dutch and Russians are the biggest summer spenders in Spain, according to a study published today by the BBVA Innovation Centre in partnership with BBVA Data & Analytics.

Destacame.cl, a Chilean start-up that allows users to build a credit score based on their history of paying utility bills, has won the BBVA Open Talent 2015 Special Financial Inclusion Award. As part of their award, Destacame.cl will present their product at September’s Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) Global Policy Forum, held in September in Maputo, Mozambique.

BBVA Open Talent 2015 - BBVA’s competition for FinTech start-ups, now in its’ 7th year - has attracted 652 entrants from 63 countries, competing for the chance to make it to this year’s finals, to be held in Spain, the United States and Mexico. For the first time, the United States is the country with the largest number of entrants, with 166 competitors.
