Garanti BBVA recognized in seven categories at the Sardis Awards
Garanti BBVA once again demonstrated its leadership at one of the most prestigious events in finance and technology, the Sardis Awards. The bank was honored in seven categories, winning four gold and three silver awards in categories related to creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, social impact and its customer-oriented approach.
In the field of creativity and brand experience, Garanti BBVA took home top honors for its campaigns blending emotional storytelling with innovative communication. Its film ‘Şarkılarda Sen’ (You in songs’), which features Atatürk’s favorite songs performed by renowned artists to celebrate Youth and Atatürk Commemoration Day on May 19, won the gold award for the Best Special Occasion Film. The campaign ‘We are Garanti BBVA. We do it together!’ also won gold for the Best Integrated Campaign, while the project ‘Digital Diary with Ada’ received the silver award in the Best Digital Ideas category.
The bank was also recognized for its innovation and social impact. Garanti BBVA earned gold in the Banks category for its ‘Bonus Platinum Dinamik’ project, and in the Social Responsibility category for its Teacher Academy Foundation, reflecting the bank’s long-term commitment to education. In fintech, Garanti BBVA Kripto won two silver awards for Innovative Use of Technology and for Entrepreneurship, putting the spotlight on the bank’s efforts in the Digital (Crypto) Asset Platforms category.
Ceren Acer Kezik, Deputy General Manager of Garanti BBVA, explained that the bank aims to put customer experience at the heart of all its operations and innovation efforts. “This success at the Sardis Awards reflects Garanti BBVA’s innovative strength, as well as its determination to add value to customers and society,” Kezik said. She emphasized that the bank’s Radical Client Perspective approach ensures that all products and processes are redesigned from the customer’s perspective, with a focus on empathy, trust and convenience at every touchpoint.
The Deputy General Manager also stressed the bank’s commitment to continue combining innovation and digital transformation, with a human-centered approach to technology. Garanti BBVA’s award-winning projects “are not only indicative of our past success, but of this vision for the future,” she concluded.
