Garanti BBVA Launches Fund Bot to Simplify Investment Decisions
The new digital tool offers personalized model portfolios based on each investor’s risk profile and time horizon, making the investment process faster, clearer, and more straightforward.
Garanti BBVA has launched Garanti BBVA Fund Bot, a digital solution designed to guide first-time investors through the process while giving experienced but time-pressed investors a faster, easier way to build an appropriate fund allocation. Accessible via the Applications and Investments section of Garanti BBVA Mobile, the tool uses a suitability test to determine the investor’s profile and then matches them with the most appropriate model portfolio.
The model portfolios are built by Garanti BBVA Asset Management, which designs them taking into account current market conditions across four investor profiles—cautious, balanced, dynamic, and aggressive—with multiple time-horizon options, offering a total of 24 portfolio alternatives. Fund allocations reflect regulatory requirements and user preferences, and portfolios are automatically rebalanced when market developments warrant an update. When additional funds are deposited, the system reallocates in line with the model portfolio weightings. Investors can view their fund allocations, choose between options, and track their current portfolio distribution and performance through the Fund Bot’s “My Portfolio” page.
Garanti BBVA Executive Vice President Ceren Acer Kezik said the Fund Bot was developed with the bank’s Radical Customer Perspective approach, which places empathy at the heart of decision-making and designs every step from the customer’s point of view. “Our goal is to ensure investors enjoy a seamless experience at every touchpoint with Garanti BBVA,” she said, adding that the bank’s digital infrastructure and personalization capabilities allow customers to access the right solutions at the right time, helping them navigate volatile market conditions with greater confidence.
