Garanti BBVA Launches New Service Model for Tech Startups
Garanti BBVA has launched a new banking service model for technology startups operating in technoparks, combining tailored financial solutions with specialized advisory support.
The model has been introduced at the bank’s Ankara Bilkent and Istanbul Istinye Park branches and is designed to provide the speed, flexibility and expertise tech entrepreneurs need. Under the new structure, startups work with dedicated relationship managers who specialize in the technology ecosystem and offer solutions aligned with their specific needs.
The service was first launched at the Ankara Bilkent branch and has since been extended to Istanbul Istinye Park.
Sibel Kaya, Deputy General Manager of Garanti BBVA, said the bank aims to deliver a more personalized customer experience while supporting entrepreneurs at every stage of their growth journey. She noted that technology entrepreneurship plays an important role in turning innovative ideas into economic value, and said the new model reflects a more agile and solution-oriented approach built around entrepreneurs’ needs.
Kaya added that Garanti BBVA was among the first banks in Türkiye to treat entrepreneurship as a distinct segment and develop products and services for that market. She said the new offering builds on existing initiatives, including the bank’s support programs for women entrepreneurs and Garanti BBVA Partners.
According to Kaya, Garanti BBVA plans to extend the model to reach more technology entrepreneurs and help strengthen both the startup ecosystem and the wider economy.
