The platform has grown since 2023 with a product development approach centered on user needs, building its infrastructure on Garanti BBVA technology. Recent additions have made investing easier, faster, and more comprehensive: a redesigned mobile app offers a streamlined experience alongside limit orders, profit-and-loss tracking, price alerts, favorite coin lists, and advanced charting screens. Users can trade in both Turkish lira and US dollar pairs, while a new guest log-in feature lets them explore the app without signing in.

Crypto as part of the everyday banking experience

One of the most significant steps in the platform’s growth has been its integration with Garanti BBVA Mobile, which allows users to view their crypto assets alongside equities, investment funds, and other financial holdings on a single screen and track their portfolios as a whole.

Onur Güven, General Manager of Garanti BBVA Kripto, said growth in crypto assets depends on the trust users place in the platform, which is why the company focused from the outset on technology, security, and user experience. “Reaching 500,000 customers has shown us once again that we are moving in the right direction,” he said, adding that Garanti BBVA Kripto will continue to track investors’ expectations closely and develop products and services that create value for the crypto asset ecosystem.

New solutions and the market’s strongest capital base

Garanti BBVA Kripto has also developed services aimed at different investment habits, launching an over-the-counter (OTC) platform for investors trading high volumes and removing commission on TRY limit orders executed as maker orders. With paid-in capital of TRY 5.788 billion, it is the highest-capitalized crypto asset trading platform in Türkiye—a capital structure the company sees as a concrete indicator of its sustainable growth targets.
