Garanti BBVA’s letters of guarantee go digital
Garanti BBVA recently launched an electronic platform known as Elektronik Teminat Mektubu Platformu, or ETMP, to provide customers letters of guarantee electronically. Provided by Kredi Kayıt Bürosu (KKB), Garanti BBVA customers who are KKB Findeks members get free access to the platform.
Waiting for letters of guarantee to be delivered by snail mail is now a thing of the past for Garanti BBVA customers. Once the letter of guarantee has been approved by the bank, it will be displayed on the ETMP, reducing operational risks and saving time.
Customers can also send Garanti BBVA compensation and refund applications quickly and easily on the new platform, without having to set foot in a bank branch. The platform will also allow customers to access all letters of guarantee issued by the bank, including detailed information of previous certificates.
