Garanti BBVA Mobile Unveils ‘My Family:’ A Comprehensive Banking Experience for Kids and Parents
Garanti BBVA recently launched ‘My Family,’ a new section on its Garanti BBVA Mobile app that lets parents manage their children’s finances on a single screen. This all-in-one solution features expense-tracking, educational content and financial products, such as checking accounts, savings accounts, Türkiye’s Individual Pension System (BES) and cards.
On ‘My Family,’ parents can monitor their children’s spending in real time and easily open cards for them. The Bonus Cool credit card and Paracard Bonus Cool debit card are issued in the children’s names in age-appropriate card designs, giving them the thrill of owning their first card. Meanwhile parents have the peace of mind of knowing that they can set spending limits and securely supervise where purchases are made.
The solution largely eliminates the need for physical transactions and helps children learn to save through integrated savings products. Savings accounts specifically designed for children encourage them to reach their savings goals, while incorporating features such as allowances and automatic transfers to help build strong financial habits from an early age. My Family was designed to be more than a product, but a digital guide that stands by families, helping children create a healthy relationship with banking, while parents can manage the process with confidence with a control panel.
