According to an article published in the journal Frontiers in Public Health, the percentage of overfat adults and children (those with excess body fat) in developed countries is extremely high and substantially greater than that of overweight and obese individuals. The researchers involved in this study found that between 62% and 76% of the world’s population have reached body fat levels that can impair health.
