Garanti BBVA Leasing managing director Unal Gokmen explained that the partnership with Elseroof Enerji and Heran Enerji "will yield a significant boost to the country’s energy industry and help drive the number of investments".

Gokmen pointed out that the bank started supporting the development of the leasing sector over 30 years ago, with the aim of “delivering sustainable financing solutions for all our clients.” This is why, for BBVA Garanti, financing renewable energy sources has become such a pivotal issue. "As of today, we have provided significant funding to a diversity of solar power station development projects and have made our experience in rooftop solar projects available to investors," the executive said. “With our commitment and efforts we have contributed to the national economy. Looking forward, we plan to keep signing important partnership agreements," said the executive.

"This collaboration will increase the funding available for the development of solar energy projects"

Mustafa Herdem, chairman of the board of directors of Elseroof Enerji and Heran Enerji Yönetim, emphasized that "our collaboration with Garanti BBVA Leasing will increase the funding available for the development of solar energy projects.” "With its robust infrastructure and extensive track record, it will become a key partner for us at the time of finding solutions and will solve our customers’ financing problems," he emphasizes.

Herdem also noted that the agreement, which will contribute to solving some of the sector’s financing problems, will bolster and fuel solar system installation trends. "Thanks to this collaboration, the capital devoted to cover energy costs and the considerable demand for energy imports will gradually decrease. Thus, this is something broader than an agreement where the only winner is the investor, since it will also yield clear benefits to our country as a whole," said the executive.
