Garanti BBVA supports energy investments in Türkiye’s industrial heartland
BBVA’s Turkish franchise provides financing for Uludağ Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş.’s electricity distribution investments across Bursa, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, and Yalova, contributing to regional energy resilience and sustainable development.
Garanti BBVA continues to help fortify Türkiye’s energy infrastructure with a new financing initiative. More precisely, the bank is funding the investments of Uludağ Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş., which serves approximately four million subscribers in the Marmara region, including key industrial provinces such as Bursa, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, and Yalova.
These investments are critical to ensuring security of energy supply and supporting the region’s sustainable development goals. By backing strategic projects that enhance the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of energy, Garanti BBVA is reaffirming its commitment to financing investments in this sector.
