Garanti BBVA receives 17 awards at the EMEA Finance Awards
At the 2018 EMEA Finance Awards, Garanti BBVA collected a total of 17 awards in 13 different categories for eight projects. EMEA Finance is one of the leading financial publications for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and held its awards ceremony in London on June 12th and 13th.
The publication named Garanti BBVA central and eastern Europe's Best Project Finance House for the fourth year in a row. The bank also received awards for the Best Structured Finance House, the Best Syndicated Loan House and the Best Social Bond.
Garanti BBVA Executive Vice President Ebru Dildar Edin had this to say about the awards: "As a bank, we give great importance to providing finance for Turkey's leading investment projects. We value these awards because they are a recognition of our country's major projects in the international arena and compliance with international criteria.” The energy and infrastructure projects Garanti finances were also recognized, demonstrating the importance the bank's know-how and advice.
