Almost everything is ready for El Celler de Can Roca’s historic visit to Chile, which will take place in just a bit over a month, from August 28th through September 4th. The Roca brothers are working on the final details of the menu they will offer during the dinners served at the nation’s capital.
For Chileans, stars have become a valuable natural resource, capable of attracting millions in investments in the shape of the most advanced astronomical observatories, which have populated the arid Atacama desert landscape little by little. Thanks to them, scientists from across the world can enlighten humanity with their discoveries about galaxies, exoplanets and different interstellar events.
The fact that a long and narrow country like Chile - where going from one end to the other is an adventure in itself – dares to explore beyond the established limits, moving its border to the north and the south in order to reveal new terroirs with new climates, land and winemaking methods speaks to a country of renewed youth where diversity is the name of the game.

Over 6,000 people attended the largest event about cooperation and development in Europe. Organized annually by the European Commission in Brussels, this year’s European Development Days were held on June 15 and 16. With the active participation of BBVA Microfinance Foundation (FMBBVA), the main topic of the event was the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
